Mayabeque, Cuba: The National Center for Biopreparations (BIOCEN) received the recognition of the Cuban people for the work carried out in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic and the contributions to development and technological innovation, regarding the day of tribute to Cuban science, Radio Reloj reports.
The scientific work developed by the institution was honored by the delegation in Mayabeque of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment and by the BioCubaFarma Company.
The prizes awarded to scientific knowledge in BIOCEN are linked to programs developed by the entity as the first means of transport for the diagnosis of Covid-19 and the use of Biomodulin T from a preventive scenario in the protocol for dealing with the virus.
The meeting also highlighted the approval of the center as one of the only two High Technology companies in the country.
