Caracas: The president of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, presented during a balance of policies against the pandemic, the Carvativir drug of national scientific production that neutralizes 100 percent the Covid-19 virus, Radio Habana Cuba publishes.
The head of state reported that Carvativir is an antiviral with excellent results, “it has been used as part of the treatments applied in Venezuela to patients affected with Covid-19, giving good results?, he added.
With the Carvativir initiative, the president said that the shipment of 10 million doses of Sputnik V will arrive very soon, in addition to the vaccines from Russia and they are negotiating with others produced in other parts of the world.
Maduro confirmed the creation of a two million dollar fund in the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America – Peoples’ Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP) to combat the pandemic in the region.
«The ALBA-TCP took a gigantic step to guarantee treatments and vaccines against Covid-19 to our peoples. The European Union and the United States (USA) must think about the world, that is why at ALBA we have taken a gigantic step to guarantee all treatments?, the president emphasized.
