Mayabeque, Cuba: Mayabeque reports 35 positive cases to Covid-19, according to the official website of the Cuban Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP).
Among those infected are: 8 without a specified source of infection (1 from Santa Cruz del Norte, 1 from San José de las Lajas and 6 from Güines). In addition 27 contacts of confirmed cases.
Of the 35 positive samples, the municipalities of Batabanó and Bejucal have one each. Quivicán, Santa Cruz del Norte and San José de las Lajas 5 each, while Güines has 9 in total, Madruga 6 and San Nicolás 3.
The use of the mask face is mandatory in all scenarios, and the assistance of people with catarrhal signs and symptoms in work centers or other institutions is prohibited.
Preventive measures include the increase in clinical investigations, disinfection of hands and surfaces with sodium hypochlorite.
Population studies, as well as attention to vulnerable groups continue among the main methods.
