Mayabeque, Cuba: Mayabeque reports 24 positive cases to Covid-19, according to the official website of the Cuban Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP).
Among those infected are one from the municipality of San Nicolás with no specified source of infection. In addition, 21 contacts of confirmed cases and 2 imported.
Of the 24 positive samples, the municipalities of Jaruco, Melena del Sur and San Nicolás have one each, while Santa Cruz del Norte 2, Quivicán 3, Güines 5 and Madruga 10.
The use of the mask face is mandatory in all scenarios, and the assistance of people with catarrhal signs and symptoms in work centers or other institutions is prohibited.
Preventive measures include the increase in clinical investigations, disinfection of hands and surfaces with sodium hypochlorite.
Population studies, as well as attention to vulnerable groups continue among the main methods.
