Mayabeque, Cuba: In the municipality of Jaruco, six families are on the way to finish their houses through the subsidy delivery program. Since the implementation of the program in 2012, 152,361 family nuclei have benefited in the country.
As explained by the director of Housing in that territory, ??Reidel Pérez Morales, in April these individuals must complete their projects for which they received 85 thousand pesos as they are basic housing cells.
Four of the houses with progress in their repair or construction are owned by mothers with three or more children less than 17 years of age, of the 14 benefited there with this Program.
Despite the instability in the supply of resources in the Local Building Materials Store, such as P-350 cement, steel and carpentry, last year 21 homes were recovered through this route, at a cost of more than one million pesos.
For this year, the production of 2 million 450 thousand blocks is planned in Mayabeque. The production of floor elements (mosaics and tiles) will exceed the figure of one million 571 thousand square meters.
The budget has not yet been assigned to grant new subsidies in the municipality this year, the financing of which is estimated to be higher in congruence with the changes implicit in the Ordering Task.
