Mayabeque, Cuba: Mayabeque records 13 positive cases for Covid-19, according to the report issued by the Cuban Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP).
Of the samples studied yesterday in the province, all are contacts of confirmed cases.
The municipalities of Güines and Quivicán have two each. For its part, Bejucal has 3, San José de las Lajas 5 and Jaruco 1.
Among those reported as serious is a 67-year-old citizen, who does not refer to a Personal Pathological History. He remains in Intermediate Care Unit, afebrile, with mild polypnea, on intermittent Non-Invasive Ventilation. He is hemodynamically stable. Preserved diuresis. Gasometry with respiratory alkalosis. Chest X-ray. Signs of pulmonary fibrosis.
The use of the mask face is mandatory in all scenarios, and the assistance of people with catarrhal signs and symptoms in work centers or other institutions is prohibited.
Preventive measures include the increase in clinical investigations, disinfection of hands and surfaces with sodium hypochlorite.
