Nuevo acuerdo para impulsar el trabajo ciencia-universidad para el desarrollo agrícola.

Mayabeque, Cuba: The Agrarian University of Havana today signed a collaboration agreement with various entities belonging to the Mayabeque Scientific and Teaching Complex, in order to promote scientific and technical exchange.

The agreement, signed with the Institute of Animal Science (ICA) and the National Institute of Agricultural Sciences (INCA), aims to share knowledge and technologies, through specific collaboration programs and projects in force in the Sectorial and National Programs of the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Higher Education and the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment.

According to the Agrarian University in its official profile on Twitter, these new opportunities for collaboration, which include exchange in related scientific disciplines and the development of research projects, will directly affect the training process of all those involved in this link.

The agreement was signed by the rector of the Agricultural University, Antihus Hernández, Alexander Miranda, director of INCA and José Andrés Díaz, highest authority of the ICA.

This document constitutes a further step forward in the science-university relationship promoted by the Cuban government, with the aim of consolidating the research obtained for the benefit of the population, in this case, in food production and national agricultural development.
