Havana, Cuba: The third day of sessions of the 8th Congress of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) began this Sunday at the Havana Convention Center, after two days of intense debate in Labor Commissions.
The preceding sessions analyzed the role of the Party cadres and the ideological formation, the functioning of the organization and the proposals for transformations of the Economic and Social Development Plan until 2030 and the Guidelines.
During this Sunday, the presentation, discussion and approval of the Draft Resolutions on the Central Report and those prepared by the Commissions are scheduled. In the afternoon, the delegates will study the nomination proposal for members of the Central Committee.
After its approval, a vote will be taken on it, the results of which will be presented this Monday at the final session of the conclave.
