Mayabeque, Cuba: The Covid-19 Hospital of the Faculty of Medical Sciences of Mayabeque, currently has 39 patients from the different municipalities of the province. Asymptomatic positive patients or with mild symptoms are treated at this institution.
According to the director of the Covid-19 hospital, Dr. María Cristina Castellanos, doctors and nurses from Nueva Paz support the institution; they are the ones who carry out the care with eight students of the Medical Sciences Faculty who voluntarily support in the sanitation and service process.
“We have had good results, the patients express their satisfaction with the care they receive, although we have a team of services that from their job position contribute to the proper development of this healthcare center?, concluded the Vice General Dean of the Faculty of Medical Sciences of Mayabeque.
