Mayabeque, Cuba: The member of the Central Committee of the Party, Major General Ramón Pardo Guerra, Chief of the National Civil Defense Staff, urged today in Mayabeque to maintain a strict confrontation with the new coronavirus in the province, with emphasis on the actions comprehensive preventive measures to contain the pandemic.
During his visit to the meeting of the Temporary Working Group, he exhorted to implement rigorous measures to restrict mobility and discipline, as well as to increase control in each municipality, as Mayabeque is the fourth territory in the country with the highest incidence rates of COVID19.
He also called for promoting the economy along with food production and being alert to the weather situation, in a context aggravated by the virus.
