Mayabeque, Cuba: The unjustified lack of risk perception, indiscipline in work centers and poor quality of the investigation are the main causes of Madruga’s setback in the control of Covid-19.
The 80 confirmed cases in the last 15 days, one deceased, one seriously ill and 183 sources of transmission of the virus dispersed in the four popular councils, illustrate the complex epidemiological scenario facing the territory.
Together with the call that has been reiterated for more than a year to self-care, responsibility and discipline in compliance with preventive measures against this Coronavirus, the Temporary Working Group to Confront Covid-19 in Madruga, asked to act most energetic of the imposing bodies and the administrative departments.
It also exhorted the population to condemn and denounce without hesitation the reckless and violating demonstrations of the established measures because health and life are at stake.
It is a proven fact that before each breach or negligence the answer is new confirmed cases and the danger of death, so the use of the nasobuco, physical distancing, avoiding visits, family reunions or celebrations of any kind, are the measures that further away from the virus.
The municipality is working hard to prepare for the massive health intervention. The 29 vaccinations are already prepared and the personnel who will participate in the process are trained.
