Mayabeque, Cuba: The results of the children’s literature contest, “I Met a Writer,” were released by the Provincial Department of Houses of Culture in this province.
The award went to the play “I Met Elizabeth Álvarez”, by the student María Fernanda Gómez Díaz, from Güines.
In the genre of poetry, the greatest recognition was for the work “The Gift” by the student Laziel Martínez Reyes from Quivicán, with a mention for “Félix por el mundo” by the student Sailys Domínguez Milián from Bejucal.
In decima, the award went to “I Know a Writer” by student Alain González Acosta, from the Patricio Lastra Children’s Repentismo Workshop from Quivicán.
The Provincial Department of Houses of Culture and the Provincial Directorate of Culture congratulate all the winners in the Children’s Literature contest: I Met a Writer.
