Mayabeque, Cuba: The province of Mayabeque registers 456 positive cases for Covid-19, according to the official website of the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP) of Cuba.
San José de las Lajas has a high number of infections with a total of 172 patients, followed by Nueva Paz with 104, Santa Cruz del Norte with 55, Madruga with 38 and Güines with 33.
Meanwhile, Madruga reports 38 patients, Güines 33, Jaruco: 25, Bejucal: 19, San Nicolás: 4, while Batabanó and Quivicán have one case per municipality.
According to the press conference of Dr. Francisco Durán, yesterday 82 people died due to Covid-19, two come from Mayabeque, one from San Nicolás and another from San José de las Lajas. We convey our condolences to their families and friends.
The Mayabeque authorities reinforce the work in the territories with a more complex situation, but each of them will adapt the plan to their needs and characteristics.
