Rome: Another donation of materials and medical supplies coordinated by the National Association of Italy-Cuba Friendship (Anaic) traveled to the Island on a Neos airline flight from the city of Milan.
According to Radio Habana Cuba, the lot valued at about 90 thousand euros is part of the project ‘Por un abrazo’ and includes visors, masks, gowns, saturators, detergent gel, disinfectant and sterile gloves, destined for the hospitals of Las Tunas and Santiago from Cuba, the solidarity organization said in a statement.
After thanking the companies Zhou Hui and Zhou Hy, from Milan, as well as the Poliambulancia Foundation and the Civil Hospitals of Brescia for their contribution to this donation, Anaic announced two more shipments next month, including a container by sea.
On October 4, the first donation in the framework of ‘Por un abrazo’ left for Cuba, an initiative promoted by the Association with the Music Recordings and Editions Company (Egrem) and the collaboration of Neos, the Italian Recreational and Cultural Association ( Arci) and Timbalaye.
