Mayabeque, Cuba: Statistics show the decrease in positive cases of Covid-19 in Mayabeque, in the percentage of people admitted, suspected of being infected and seriously or critically ill patients.
At the meeting of the Temporary Working Group to confront the pandemic, the Governor of the territory, Tamara Valido Benítez, emphasized, the importance of maintaining hygienic-sanitary measures despite the improvement in the epidemiological situation in the province.
Valido Benítez insisted that the epidemic has not yet stop its scourge, therefore, it is necessary to redouble all efforts and not lose the perception of risk in the face of the threat of the disease.
She also urged the health authorities and the population to continue with the immunization process to control the illness.
The new normality will come to the province gradually and it requires a lot of control because the virus although with less incidence, is still in present in several locations.
The member of the Central Committee of the Party and First Secretary in Mayabeque, Yanina de la Nuez Aclich, pointed out that celebrations, parties and crowds are still prohibited.
With the opening of tourism and airports, the population must act responsibly in all settings, including classrooms.
