Mayabeque, Cuba: At midnight yesterday the province of Mayabeque reports 9 people infected with Covid-19, distributed in 6 of the municipalities, the official website of the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP) in Cuba reports.
Those positive for the virus are contacts of confirmed cases.
Bejucal, Melena del Sur and Quivicán have 2 patients and Jaruco, San José de las Lajas and Santa Cruz del Norte have one case each.
The demarcation does not register any deceased, however the health authorities warn the population to continue with strict compliance with hygienic-sanitary measures to move towards the new normal and avoid a possible re-outbreak of the disease.
