Regreso a las aulas en Cuba.

The streets and avenues of Mayabeque will be painted again in the colors of the school uniforms after almost a year for the resumption of the course in the face to face modality, starting this November 15.

Some experts suggest the class system to be developed flexibly, without imposition, from the diagnosis of each school to its students, who since March of last year received the contents through tele classes under the supervision of parents, tutors and relatives, with the support of teachers.

The material base for the study is guaranteed despite the complex economic situation derived from the pandemic and the intensification of the blockade imposed by the United States on Cuba for more than six decades.

Hygienic-sanitary measures are already dictated in all educational centers of the province to achieve a successful development in this school period, where the role of the teaching staff and the family is key to avoid contagion with COVID-19, a lethal virus that it has claimed thousands of deaths in Cuba and in the world.

The correct use of the mask face, the disinfection of the hands, maintaining social distancing, among others, are measures that we must not violate during the stay in these institutions to prevent a new outbreak of the pandemic and finish this school year with satisfactory results.

We should not trust ourselves, because despite the fact that most of the students and teachers have received the three doses of the Cuban vaccines Abdala, Soberana 02 and Soberana Plus, they are not exempt from being infected with the virus, hence the need not to lower the guard in no time.

The Cuban state guarantees all the conditions for an efficient performance in the restart of this school period that presupposes great challenges for teachers in these times of COVID-19, hence I reiterate the need to support them from homes and in this way protect the health of our students.

Only in this way will we be able to gradually incorporate ourselves into the new normal and return to carry out all the social activities to which we were accustomed before this pandemic invaded humanity.
