Cuba: The Prime Minister of Cuba, Manuel Marrero Cruz led today the act of reopening international borders and the restart of tourist operations in the country, Prensa Latina reports.
In the emblematic Hotel Nacional, the head of government highlighted the work of the health and scientific personnel, who with their work made it possible for the country to receive tourists and travelers safely and, in addition, recognized the workers of the sector.
He also praised foreign investors and operators, whom he called to work together to reposition the Cuban product.
Marrero stressed that the people expect a lot from the smokeless industry, crucial in the aspirations of the largest island of the Antilles to revitalize its economy.
For his part, the head of Tourism, Juan Carlos García, recalled that 100 percent of the sector?s facilities have the most hygienic and safe tourism certification.
