Cuba carries out this Saturday the National Defense Day, with activities aimed at training the popular forces, the Defense Zones, the units of the Revolutionary Armed Forces and the Ministry of the Interior, in the interest of fulfilling the missions conceived in our doctrine de Guerra de Todo el Pueblo, the Granma Newspaper publishes.
Last October the Ministry of the Revolutionary Armed Forces announced that, in accordance with what was approved in Resolution 001 of the President of the National Defense Council for the year of Preparation for Defense 2021, and considering the improvement of the situation epidemiological activity in the country, the Moncada Exercise was maintained on the scheduled date of November 18 and 19.
Today concludes this exercise, which began last Thursday morning, with the presence of Army General Raúl Castro Ruz; the First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez; the President of the National Assembly of People’s Power, Esteban Lazo Hernández and the Prime Minister, Manuel Marrero Cruz, as well as other leaders and military chiefs.
