Mayabeque, Cuba: The director of Public Health of Mayabeque, Dr. Luis Armando Wong Corrales, held a meeting with the health authorities of Jaruco, accompanied by Dr. Idalberto Aguiar, who will succeed him in 2022.
In the exchange, they were interested in the municipality’s indicators in relation to the coronavirus and the revitalization of services by leaving behind the darkest days of the pandemic.
The director of Public Health of Jaruco, Dr. Antonio Herrera González, described the epidemiological panorama of the town, described as favorable as the transmission of COVID-19 was reduced.
The Jaruco health authorities, on behalf of the rest of the workers and the people, gave a recognition to Dr. Wong for his achievements for five years at the head of health in the province.
The meeting that served to wish Dr. Luis Armando Wong Corrales success in his future work was held at the Noelio Capote de Jaruco Polyclinic.
The director of this institution, Dra. Tania Padrón Rodríguez, also deserved praise for her work and that of the municipal team.
The heads of the basic working groups and specialists who lead the most important programs of Primary Health Care participated in the meeting.
