Mayabeque, Cuba: The painting and maintenance of the green areas of the bridge at kilometer 30 of the national highway, better known as Zenea, in San José de las Lajas, concluded this week.
The specialist of the Mayabeque Road Infrastructure Department, Lázaro Tápanes Marrero, released the information and added that the works covered the entire upper and lower structure of the work, of around 80 meters, which favors its visibility and beauty.
Tápanes Marrero specified that colors are key to alert drivers passing under the bridge. The yellow, which corresponds to the railings and the white to the porches, for example, are in correspondence with the traffic signs, while, the brown, identifies the province.
Workers of the Road Maintenance Company of the Mayabeque Business Group assume the actions and propose to finish the Tapaste and Pedro Pí bridges before the end of 2021.
