Havana, Cuba: The Cuban Foreign Minister, Bruno Rodríguez, will participate today in the 45th Annual Ministerial Meeting of the Group of 77 plus China, which is held in virtual format, Prensa Latina publishes.

The meeting brings together senior representatives to analyze the global response to the Covid-19 pandemic, the obstacles in the implementation of the 2030 Agenda and the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.

According to the Cuban Foreign Ministry, the meeting will culminate with a Ministerial Declaration that, among other issues, will denounce the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States against the Caribbean country.

The G77 is made up of developing and underdeveloped countries that encourages support in international organizations and the defense of common interests.

The forum is considered the largest intergovernmental organization of developing countries in the United Nations.
