Havana, Cuba: The rendering account of the Prime Minister of Cuba, Manuel Marrero, and the provincial government of Sancti Spíritus (center) will mark the Parliament’s agenda today on the closing day of the eighth regular session, Prensa Latina publishes.

The report presented to the deputies by the Head of Government has been available on the website of the National Assembly of People’s Power since last December 10, with the aim of enriching the process with the criteria of citizenship and providing it with greater transparency.

In advance, the document was approved by the Council of Ministers, as the exercise is part of the order established by the Constitution, which understands accountability as one of the pillars of socialist democracy.

Similarly, the report of the government of the province of Sancti Spíritus is public since December 2 and includes the economic results of the territory, with emphasis on the food program, services to the population and efficient use of the budget.

In addition, it delves into the implementation of the Economic-Social Strategy at the local level and in the attention to the proposals, complaints and requests of the population, as well as the main trends of dissatisfaction.

The deputies will also consider this Wednesday the necessary adjustments to the legislative schedule and the decisions made between one ordinary meeting of Parliament and another.

The day before the legislators approved three laws: of territorial and urban planning and land management; of the Military Penal Process, and of the

. Military Courts.

They also elected two members of the Council of State, approved the bill for the Families Code, which will be submitted to popular consultation at the beginning of 2022, and the economy plan and the State budget law for next year
