This was announced by the President of the National Assembly of People’s Power, Esteban Lazo Hernández, during the closing of the sessions of the island’s Parliament, in which it was decided to name 2022 as Year 64 of the Revolution.
The parliamentarians also approved that the People’s Supreme Court and the Office of the Attorney General of the Republic are the bodies that are accountable in the next regular session.
In addition, it was agreed that the Ministry of Energy and Mines go through the audit process of Parliament and the Government of the eastern province of Granma also report on its management.
