The president of the Municipal Electoral Council, María Magdalena Acosta Aguiar, said that constituencies 9, 16, 24 and 31, located in the 4 popular councils of the territory, were the settings for the debate on the legal document, which is broad and complex but great importance for Cuban families.
Acosta Aguiar added that the meetings are to collect information and process it, so voters can take their proposals in writing or have them identified to expose them and verify that they are reflected as they expressed it.
In San Nicolás they plan to hold 159 neighborhood meetings, chaired by members of the National Union of Jurists of Cuba and the constituency electoral commission.
The president of the Municipal Electoral Council took advantage of the occasion to exhort all the inhabitants of San Nicolás to participate in the debate, learn about the contents and its benefits, as well as the protection provided by the project of the code of inclusion, diversity, non-discrimination and equality.
