Mayabeque, Cuba: Yesterday, Mayabeque reported 34 new positive cases of Covid-19 in seven of its municipalities. Two of them without a specified source of infection, the official website of the Cuban Ministry of Public Health reported.
The municipality of San José de las Lajas registered 12 patients with the new coronavirus, followed by Santa Cruz del Norte with 8 and Bejucal with 5.
The municipality of Güines reported 4, Jaruco 3, Batabanó and Nueva Paz one each.
Yesterday no deaths were reported.
Despite the decrease in the numbers of infections, strict compliance with the established hygienic-sanitary measures must be maintained.
Frequent hand washing, the correct and permanent use of the mask and the disinfection of common areas must be part of the daily routine.
