Mayabeque, Cuba: The interest in work grew during the last year in Madruga, a direct consequence of the implementation of the ordering task that had since its inception, precisely that, among other purposes, in favor of the economy and the well-being of the people .
The application for employment before the municipal directorate of labor and social security of the territory tripled in 2021 in relation to previous years, especially from people without employment, the director of the entity, Obdulia del Sol González explained.
Nearly 2,000 people from Madrid applied for a job and 973 were placed in employment. Of these, 63 percent in the state sector and 37 percent in the non-state sector, while highlighting that young people and women were the segments most interested in finding work.
The head of the employer entity in Madruga explained that this year the motivation for employment continues and it is necessary to achieve a strategy that responds in terms of workforce to the real needs of local development, not only from the urban towns but also from the communities.
