Mayabeque, Cuba: Yesterday, Mayabeque reported 14 new positive cases of Covid-19 in 8 of its 11 municipalities. All contacts of confirmed cases, reported the official website of the Cuban Ministry of Public Health.
The municipalities of Güines and Santa Cruz del Norte each registered 3 patients with the new coronavirus, while Bejucal and San Nicolás 2.
For their part, Jaruco, Melena Del Sur, Nueva Paz and San José de las Lajas reported two cases.
Yesterday no deaths were reported in the province.
Despite the decrease in the numbers of infections, strict compliance with the established hygienic-sanitary measures must be maintained. Frequent hand washing, the correct and permanent use of the mask and the disinfection of common areas must be part of the daily routine.
