Mayabeque, Cuba: Batabanó students Ana Margarita Moreno and Estéfani Rodríguez received the award for the Martin Colorín provincial children’s literature contest at the Fiesta de Colores, fixed space that is held every first and third Sunday of the month in the coastal municipality.
The winners thanked their families and literature professors Rosendo García Izquierdo and Dámaris Romero for their support.
The participants in the cultural meeting enjoyed the performances of the clowns, the piano, violin and trumpet performances by a group of students from the Arístides Soto Vocational School of Art, the performance of the troubadour Lázaro Díaz, the participation games and children’s music.
