Mayabeque, Cuba: From April 1st to 4th, the members of the Young Communists League (UJC) and the José Martí Pioneer Organization (OPJM) will carry out multiple activities.
The first day of the fourth month of the year will be dedicated to the José Martí pioneers, therefore, in each educational establishment they will carry out special morning sessions, sporting events and actions to recover raw materials to celebrate the 61st Anniversary of the organization.
With the slogan ?Con to pal barrio?, on Saturday the second, the young people of Mayabeque will carry out voluntary work in some of the 48 communities of the province that are currently undergoing transformation due to their situation of vulnerability.
While the next day, in the morning, they will carry out an intense day of productive work in the potato harvest and cane planting; and at night, they will be concentrated in the Cultural Square of San José de las Lajas to recognize the outstanding young people and the founders of the organization; as well as awarding stamps and distinctions to those who with their daily work honor the Cuban communist vanguard.
Also during those days of celebration they will carry out camping, fairs for the centenary of the University Student Federation, costume and kite festivals.
