Mayabeque, Cuba: A group of young people from the municipality of Güines arrived by bicycle at the town’s central park to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Young Communists League and the 61st anniversary of the José Martí Pioneers Organization.
The appointment of this new generation was also propitious to repudiate the blockade imposed by the United States against Cuba more than six decades ago.
The young Cubans reaffirmed their commitment to the Revolution, to the organization and condemned the genocidal blockade imposed by the northern nation and the intensification of the measures by the government of that country.
