Mayabeque, Cuba: After a period of inactivity, the Porfirio Ruiz Seco Base Business Unit in Madruga is now in full production.
Some 20,000 bags of coral soft drink are manufactured daily by the entity’s workers and marketed in the gastronomy sector, including the province’s Ideal markets.
The director of the UEB Porfirio Ruiz Seco de Madruga, Michel Marín Domínguez, says that in the absence of alcohol and other raw materials, they take advantage of technologies for the production of bulk concentrated soft drinks, packaged in five-liter plastic containers.
This indicator will close the month of March with 12 thousand units sold.
Marín Domínguez adds that other assortments are cola and tangerine soft drinks, bottled in 330-milliliter bottles, destined for stores that collect currency in Mayabeque.
The municipality’s soft drinks and beverage marketing entity restarted its production after acquiring essential raw materials such as sugars and acids.
