Havana, Cuba: Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel today endorsed the Island’s willingness to dialogue with the United States government, despite the divergent positions between both parties, Prensa Latina publishes.

The ruler subscribed on Twitter a thought of the historical leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro:

It is not necessary to emphasize what Cuba has always said: we are not afraid to dialogue with the United States, Fidel Castro affirmed on April 5, 2009.

We don’t need confrontation to exist either, as some fools think; we exist ? because we believe in our ideas and we have never been afraid to dialogue with the adversary, Díaz-Canel recalled about the ideology of Fidel Castro.

Cuba is subject to a reinforced economic, commercial and financial blockade that Washington has imposed for more than six decades.

The Caribbean island also accuses the White House of breaching migration agreements as part of its hostile policy, which includes encouraging illegal emigration while pressuring third countries to impose obstacles on Cuban travelers.
