The country accumulates 13 million 520 thousand 813 samples carried out and 1 million 095 thousand 006 positives (8.1%).
At midnight yesterday, April 10, a total of 6,602 patients were admitted, 3,886 suspected, 47 under surveillance, and 2,669 confirmed active.
For COVID-19, a total of 8,577 samples were taken for surveillance that day, with 496 being positive. The country has accumulated 13,563,327 samples and 1,097,333 positives.
Of the total cases (496): 476 were contacts of confirmed cases; 12 with a source of infection abroad; 8 with no specified source of infection.
Of the 496 diagnosed cases, 282 were female and 214 male.
5.0% (25) of the 496 positive cases were asymptomatic, accumulating a total of 146,425, which represents 13.3% of those confirmed to date.
The 496 diagnosed cases belong to the age groups: under 20 years old (150), 20 to 39 years old (105), 40 to 59 years old (106), 60 and over (135).
Of the 1,097,333 patients diagnosed with the disease, 2,669 remain hospitalized, 2,638 of them with stable clinical evolution. %). 31 confirmed patients are treated in intensive care, 9 of them critical and 22 serious.
