Mayabeque, Cuba: Mayabeque registers 60 samples positive for Covid-19, according to the official website of the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP).
Among those infected are 9 without a specified source of infection, 5 from Güines, 2 from San José de las Lajas and 1 from Batabanó and the same number from Nueva Paz, in addition to 51 who are contacts of confirmed cases.
Of the 60 positive samples, the municipalities with the highest incidence are San José de las Lajas with 20 and Güines with 15.
The rest of the infected belong to 4 to the municipality of Madruga, 1 to Nueva Paz, 8 to Melena del Sur, 9 to Quivicán, 2 to Batabanó and 1 to Bejucal.
The Provincial Defense Council (CDP) in Mayabeque urges the entire population to take extreme hygienic-sanitary measures, maintain social distancing, avoid crowds and stay indoors as long as possible.
