Mayabeque will participate in an art instructor experience workshop.

Mayabeque, Cuba: Mayabeque will participate with sociocultural and community projects and initiatives in the tenth workshop of experiences of art instructors to be held virtually.

This is an opportunity for exchange, reflection and learning, in order to improve a work focused on the human being and their spiritual growth, declared José Carlos Ruiz Alcántara, member of the National Directorate of that youth movement.

As part of the program of activities, 23 works chosen for these final sessions will be exhibited, out of the 800 presented in the current edition. Among them scientific research, pedagogical experiences, mobile applications to facilitate the professional work of the instructor, educational multimedia and others.

There will also be sociocultural and community projects and initiatives, such as Artecomunidad, from Mayabeque aimed at developing the visuality of the elderly.

Ruiz Alcántara, responsible for the improvement activity in the National Directorate of the José Martí Brigade, said that the purpose of the event is to reward the best practices in teaching, humanism and culture.

The presentations grouped into commissions on creative and community work, social and educational work and sociocultural research and new technologies will become an opportunity to debate and reflect on social responsibility, the indisputable value and the many missions of the art instructor.

The scientific program includes a panel on cultural management and development of participatory processes in the communities, the presentation of Letters to young people, a compilation of Marti texts and demonstration workshops.
