Mayabeque, Cuba: The members of the Cuban Women Federation (FMC by its Spanish initials) in Mayabeque received the 60th Anniversary Flag from the hands of a representation from Cienfuegos, Radio Reloj reports.
The meeting took place at the Juan Manuel Márquez Credit and Services Cooperative, a vanguard in the organization’s work in the province, where the FMC-ANAP Ana Betancourt Brigade was recognized.
During the delivery of the FMC’s 60th Anniversary Flag to Mayabeque, a group of young people from Nueva Paz were awarded membership cards of the Young Communists League and others were recognized for their contribution to the confrontation to the Covid-19.
According to Mayumi León Quintana, general secretary of the FMC in the territory, the banner will pass through the 11 municipalities in which women in the health sector will be acknowledged for their work in the context of the pandemic.
