Mayabeque, Cuba: Taking into account the current situation in the west of the country, in the confrontation with Covid-19 and the call of the highest authorities of the Party and the Government to reinforce epidemiological surveillance, the Provincial Directorate of Transportation of Mayabeque restored the operation of sanitary control points.
As of this day, the health control points of Comino in Santa Cruz del Norte, Zero Point in Vía Blanca, the control point of the Central highway, the Bejucal control point, the road from La Salud to San Antonio, in Camacho, as well as the accesses to the beaches of Batabanó and Mayabeque were activated, and constant monitoring will be maintained on the beaches of the north coast.
At these control points are working inspectors from the Provincial Transport Directorate, the State Traffic Unit (UET), the Ministry of the Interior (MININT) and Public Health.
The authorities present will verify the mandatory use of the mask faces in all means of transport, the active investigation in the entry and exit of all territories and the limitations in the occupation of the capacity of the means.
