Cuba: Regarding the rumors that circulate on social networks about the supposed beginning of the monetary unification as of October 1, 2020, the Central Bank of Cuba clarifies that this information is not true and confirms that at the time that decision is taken, it will be communicated to our people through the official channels.
The note released in Cubadebate also reiterates that the application of the monetary unification will not affect the cash held by the population, nor the balances of their accounts in banks.
