Cuba: Some 15,603 megawatt-hours have been consumed in the country more than expected. This figure means 4 percent of non-compliance during the first eight days of September, as it was revealed in the National Energy Council that met in Havana.
Chaired by the Commander of the Revolution and Deputy Prime Minister Ramiro Valdés Menéndez, the meeting was conducive to once again analyze the work of the councils in the territories, especially in recent days.
Only three provinces – Las Tunas, Holguín and Granma – adjusted to the assigned energy.
State services continue to be the fundamental cause of these breaches, especially because, as the Commander of the Revolution explained, the daily self-readings are not carried out with the rigor they deserve to recover the electricity that was used over the day.
