Havana: The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bruno Rodríguez, will speak on September 21 at the high-level virtual event to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the United Nations (UN), Radio Reloj publishes.
At that meeting, the Cuban Foreign Minister will reaffirm the island’s commitment to the principles of International Law, the strengthening of multilateralism and international cooperation, according to a note from MINREX.
The text states that Cuba will continue to support the UN to address the serious challenges facing humanity and advance in the construction of a democratic, fair and equitable international order.
Cuba will also be present at events organized this year by the UN such as the Biodiversity Summit and the commemorations for the Day for the Total Elimination of Nuclear Weapons and the IV World Conference on Women.
