Mayabeque, Cuba: The Agrarian University of Mayabeque will soon host the execution of a Technological Science Park project, according to Radio Ciudad de la Habana.
The website also reports that the Cuban Minister of Science, Technology and Environment, Elba Rosa Pérez, highlighted in her official Twitter account the forthcoming signing of the first contract for the execution of a project of this type in Havana, first in the country.
Located on the grounds of the University of Informatics Sciences, the center aims to promote scientific and technological development, innovation and the transfer of knowledge, to contribute to the economic and social progress of the country from the new information and communication technologies.
With a portfolio of 26 projects, aimed at solutions for the industry, platforms for online services, electronic commerce, among others, its implementation was conditioned to the epidemiological situation of the country associated with Covid-19.
Other centers such as the José Antonio Echeverría Technological University of Havana, the University of Havana, and their counterparts in the provinces of Villa Clara, Matanzas and Holguín, will host future projects of this type.
