Mayabeque, Cuba: A notable increase in self-employment compared to previous stages is now a reality in the province of Mayabeque.
According to the sector specialist in the territory, Mercedes Pérez Reyes, the province has more than 18 thousand licenses in force in the different activities for which authorization is granted. Comparing these statistics with those of the previous month it shows a certain increase.
The specialist pointed out that new forms of non-state work were opened, such as that of commercial fishermen that came into force in August and already has more than 350 registered workers.
Regarding the granting of new licenses for self-employment in this second phase in which the province is, Pérez Reyes explained that the authorizations will be granted according to the needs of the territory.
