Havana: Authorities from the Cuban Ministry of Public Health (Minsap) reported 22 new cases with Covid-19 at the end of this Sunday, for a total of six thousand diagnosed since March, no deaths and 34 new medical discharges, Radio Habana Cuba publishes.
The website of the Minsap specified that 3 848 patients are admitted to hospitals for clinical epidemiological surveillance, of them 803 are suspects, 2 744 are kept under surveillance and 301 confirmed active.
The day before 7,903 samples were studied for a cumulative of 699,646 samples taken since the start of the pandemic in our country.
Of the diagnosed cases, 21 are Cuban and one foreigner. Of these, 20 were contacts of confirmed cases, one without a specified source of infection and one with a source of infection abroad.
Regarding sex, nine are women and 13 are men.
59.1% (13) of the positive cases were asymptomatic, accumulating 3,660, representing 61% of those confirmed to date.
Of the 6,000 patients diagnosed with the disease, 301 (5.02%), 297, 98.7% with stable clinical evolution remain confirmed. 123 deaths were reported (none of the day), two evacuated, 34 discharges of the day for a cumulative of 5 574 recovered patients (93%). One patient in critical condition and three in serious condition are reported.
