Mayabeque, Cuba: Based on the new trade improvement measures, in Mayabeque 33 establishments were selected to be improved by the state to provide services to the population.
According to data provided by the director of state commerce in the province, Armando García Mesa, at the moment the territory is in a process of maintenance and repair for the pass of those units to the second category. To date, La Hayaca, in Quivicán and Vita Nuova in San José de las Lajas already meet this requirement.
García Mesa argues that this transit should conclude in December and from that moment the units will acquire a series of facilities. Administrators will approve their workforce; implement resolution 99 of commerce that will allow them to buy directly from the productive forms or from the peasants those products they need to increase the service.
Similarly, administrators may sign direct contracts with suppliers and will receive the products directly in the units based on the corresponding sales plans.
All these measures are carried out in correspondence with the economic improvement measures taken by the country’s leadership in order to improve the Cuban economy, as a result of the existing conditions.
