Workshops on Scientific Article Writing and Ethics of the Investigations Held in Mayabeque
Mayabeque, Cuba: For the first time, workshops on writing of scientific articles for biomedical journals, as well as the ethics of health research, were held in Mayabeque for the first time by Doctor of Science Roberto Cañete Villafranca, full member of the Cuban Academy of Sciences.
The Faculty of Medical Sciences of the province was the headquarters of the activities where professionals from the sector interested in publishing articles on several topics related to diseases, such as heart attacks, cancer, respiratory diseases and diabetes among others, which are the main causes of mortality in the world.
During the activity, the Associate Professor also demonstrated current evidence related to the scientific writing process and the trends of publishing houses on a global scale, which allow graduates to write quality scientific articles that can be considered for the most rigorous and visible journals.
The scientific and ethical validation of research and its particularities in developing countries was one of the topics covered in the second workshop given by Senior Researcher Roberto Cañete.
