Havana, Cuba: At midnight yesterday, November 19, 2,582 patients were admitted for clinical epidemiological surveillance, 555 suspects, 1,664 under surveillance and 363 confirmed, reports the official website of MINSAP.
For COVID-19, 10,416 samples were studied, resulting in 38 positive samples.
Of the total cases, 18 were contacts of confirmed cases and 20 with a source of infection abroad.
Of the 38 diagnosed cases, 32 are Cubans and 6 are foreigners. 52.6% (20) of the 38 positive cases were asymptomatic.
The cases belong to Pinar del Río 16, Artemisa 1 (imported), Havana 6 (5 imported), Mayabeque (2 imported cases), Matanzas 1 imported, Villa Clara 2 imported cases, Ciego de Ávila, 6 cases (5 imported) , Las Tunas 2 imported cases, Santiago de Cuba 2 imported cases.
Of the 7,763 patients diagnosed with the disease, 363 (4.6%) remain confirmed, all (100%) with stable clinical evolution. 131 deaths are reported (none in the day), two evacuees, 66 discharges of the day, 7,267 recovered patients accumulate (93.6%). No patient is found in serious or critical condition.
