CECMED Authorizes Clinical trial of Coronavirus Vaccine Candidates “Mambisa” and “Abdala”

Havana: The Cuban regulatory entity Center for State Control of Medicines, Equipment and Medical Devices (CECMED) has just authorized the start of clinical trials of “Mambisa” and Abdala”, Cuban vaccine candidates against Covid-19.

Not for expected, this news stops making us proud. The Biopharmaceutical industry is the pride of the Cuban people, they argued from that scientific entity.

From BioCubaFarma it was stated that with this authorization Cuba already has four vaccine candidates in the clinical trials phase, a feat of the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry.

Having Cuban vaccines against SARS.Cov is one way to guarantee it. It is demonstrated, once again, the integration between science, production and government with a social purpose.
