Beijing: The National Health Commission of China reported another 12 cases of Covid-19 today and again the four locals of the day were confirmed in the midst of the outbreak experienced by the autonomous region of Inner Mongolia (north), Prensa Latina publishes.
As detailed, the eight imported originated in the municipalities of Shanghai and Beijing, and in the provinces of Sichuan, Fujian and Shaanxi.
Again, the local cases registered by the country come from Manzhouli, the town in Inner Mongolia that is fighting the resurgence of the disease and looking for possible patients with the second round of health tests in less than two weeks.
With these figures, China kept the deaths from Covid-19 at 4,746 and raised the confirmed infections in its mainland, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan to 93,577.
Asymptomatic patients are counted separately and currently 264 individuals are under medical surveillance.
On the other hand, the Chongqing municipality reported that so far the tests of all close contacts of a South Korean diagnosed this weekend with Covid-19 have been negative, after traveling from there to Seoul.
The Chinese region also found no traces of the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus (which causes the pathology) either in the factory where the individual worked or in the hotel that hosted him since last February.
Hong Kong, for its part, urged residents to stay home and avoid public gatherings for the next two weeks, when teaching will be suspended and many employees will work from home.
That territory plans more measures to contain the fourth wave of Covid-19.
