Revolutions are not the exclusive daughters of a single generation, but processes of historical continuity. Ours has had the peculiarity of being authentic, and her school was above all Mambisa and Martiana.
With a rebellious thought always and absolutely sovereign, the Cuban Revolution set out on the road to the future. Thus he overcame all kinds of adversities. This is how it gained international recognition for the integrity of its leaders who never gave up, and have accompanied their people with immense dignity, Radio Rebelde publishes.
Let no one doubt it: the Revolution is and will continue to be Cuban. Thanks to that historical event, represented in the national symbol that is Fidel, Cuba went from colony to being a Homeland.
Starting from deep patriotic and revolutionary traditions that have their roots in history, that initial nucleus of combatants who went to Moncada and later continued in Granma, the Rebel Army and the clandestine struggle, was able to overcome all obstacles until achieving the victory and revolutionary unity.
They knew how to forge and prepare with a clear long-range vision the new generations that had to guarantee the continuity of the Revolution.
But, if someone wanted to talk about the history of Cuba, they would inevitably have to count on the glorious pages of sacrifice that their youth had to write in the different stages of our emancipation. For this reason, in Cuba, young people are not a relay, but a continuation of a monumental work that is built every day with the participation of all.
So: Cubans, what are we and what will we be if not a single history, a single idea, a single will for all time? We are victors of difficulties and setbacks, capable of defeating adversity and going out in search of new dreams, fighters for dignity and nobility.
Another time the homeland calls and the people come to his call. The most veterans and the youngest, Cuban men and women, will continue to bet on the efficient updating of our economy, the preservation of social conquests and the defense of a sovereignly chosen political system, where the protagonist is the people, aware that as warned the poet “for this freedom we will have to give everything”.
